Did I route these belt correctly?
Car = 1993 Volvo 240 Wagon w/AC
When i took all the belts off for the head replacement I didn't take a picture or mark where the stupid belts went. From what I could find the routing depends on the year and model as stuff was moved around from year to year and there is not set routing diagram I could find. (I haven't tightened the belts up yet so don't mind the slack.
I have 4 belts.
I have alternator (2 slots), water pump/fan (2 slots), power steering pump (slot), A/C compressor (2 slots), crankshaft pulley (3 slots)
Sounds like an 8th grade math problem!
Here is what I came up with:
Belt 1 & 2 - both the same size belt. Put both on the Alternator/water pump(fan)/cranshaft pulley
Belt 3 - power steering pump to A/C compressor - was the shortest belt.
Belt 4 - crankshaft pulley to A/C compressor - thickest belt.
All the belt slots were filled and the alt/wp are on the crankshaft, the a/c is on the crankshaft which runs the PS pump. So everything will turn when the car is running.
Yes? no?
She is almost out of the garage!!!!!!

I was thinking the same, everything turns so thats a good sign.
They are all one, fired it up and she runs, evidently I have a bad seal in the manifold/downpipe (lots of smoke and sounds like a Furious Five car).
It did stall once, made some god awful clanking sound like a nut or something rattling (I quintuple checked everything when I put it back together). Made the sound before that but didn't stall when I had it running for a couple minutes. It comes suddenly and didn't throw any codes.
Oil light is on, probably from that oil sensor thing, will look at my doctored connection again tomorrow.
so, if all goes well, I have to put the front end back on (redoing ball joints, yada yada) and she might be out of the garage for pictures.
