I went to switch out my distributor cap and rotor. Did the cap, replaced the wires one by one on the new cap, but when I got to the rotor it won't come out. I had assumed it was like some other cars I owned and it would just pull up and off, but this one won't budge. What am I missing?

U are not missing anything, the rotors just pull off but they get stuck on after years of being there. Try to pry it carefully and it will come off, although it may break in the process...
