Does Timing Belt cover come off easy?
So I can do a visual inspection of belt condition.
I think I am going to Order a timing belt and crank holder tool from FCP Groton today for peace of mind.
This will be the 4th order I have placed with FCP Groton this month!...........I support the Sponcer ...
I have done timing belts in a few Diesel VW's so I hope this one is a no brainer with the 740 Turbo...

Hopefully I dont run into problems later today when I change the belt and put on new water pump.
I all ready have the old pump off and the surfaces clean as new and ready for new pump, all bolts cleaned and painted and now I was thinking I will go pull all the spark plugs to get ready for new belt......
