Default Easy Come Easy GO+ ABS ?'s

Well after fixing the last of the issues with the 97 960 i just bought the inevitable happened. I was side swipped by a beamer and sent up a cement divider where i then landed the nose on and bent the frame into a shape resembling a L. TOTALED

Now for the good news. After some research ive decided to mount the powertrain in my 84 242ti witch has been waiting for a motor since a 27psi boost spike over the summer.

Im going to use the 960 OEM ECU's and sensors
My question is if anyone knows how i would go about getting around the issue of it going into a non ABS car?

Any thoughts?

You should be able to install the motor and trans. without the ABS module and use the existing cluster for the 240. If not then try to find and transplant a Rear out of a 740 with ABS.

I planed on take a 740 abs rear and fitting the 960 tone ring. As that is the only way i know of to get a correct speed/tach measurment.

Mainly what i was asking {witch i belive you answered} is can i just not install the abs module with out any problems.

Thanks
Alex

It will be a try and see.

It might need it for the transmission to shift properly.
