Was wondering where the door chime box/module is. Mine doesn't work and I'd like to fix it.

This is on a '90 740 GLE.

it should be in the relay panel, and look like a tall relay with a speaker grill on top.

on a 740/940, the relay panel is best accessed by removing the ash tray (where the fuses are) and removing the passenger side kick panel... the relays are behind the fuses that are behind the ashtray on top of the transmission hump.

for completeness, on a 760/960 and the 940SE thats really a 960, the relays are on the passenger side of the transmission hump under the kick panel (and the fuses are on the far left end of the dashboard instead of behind the ashtray), and easier to get to.
