So i slammed the passenger door behiend the driver's door, and it will no longer open, the handle still feels like it did ( aka no extreem slack) but the door wont open, i have checked to make sure it wasnt locked, but that may be the problem the little lock stick doesnt seem to be working right.

So my question is, 1) what do u think could be wrong, and 2) how easy / hard is it to get the door apart from the inside?

i plan on doing this tomorrow since its gonna be like 50 degrees out


any help is appreciated, i'll be looking at my haynes manual when i get home maybe there's info in there

Maybe the handle rod popped off.

You might have to damage the door panle to get it off.

 

really its that hard to get off?

once its off, how bad is it ?

 

Since the door is closed it is a pain to get if off without opening the door.

Pretty easy from there. Just look inside with a flashlight and watch moving parts.
