Default Driveshaft support bearing

89 240DL wagon, 220k - Getting an annoying shake shake- tires rebalanced several times. Mechanic said center driveshaft bearings are worn and loose. I see the part on FPC, how big a job is replacement of these. Also said the tranny mount was worn, but that looks pretty easy. Thanks! Dave

Does it require any special tools?

The center support is not that bad to replace. just make sure you mark the postion of the flanges so you put it back together the exact same way you took it off.

the trans bushing is pretty simple. I opened up the hole in the crossmember, becuase the sockets I had would not fit in the hole they provided.
