Default dual fuel LPG installation in 240

Hi,
I have seen some 240s with LPG installation, but is it possible to have it dual fuel so I wouldn't be dependent on LPG stations? I have seen some contradicting informations and I am wondering if you know something more.
The question is about cars lets say 88-93

pretty sure LP requires significantly different fuel injection as the air-fuel mix ratio is quite different. also, normally, when you do an LP conversion, you remove the fuel tank so you can use that space for the LP pressure tank. leaving the gas tank in place would mean a rather large LP tank, about 30% bigger than the gas tank for the same range, would have to be put in the trunk or something..
