Default V50 - T5 (LPG converted) - fuel pressure sensor error!?

I "volvowners"

I've a V50 T5 witch I love, except the fact I had so much problems with it...
I had it LPG converted 3 years ago and from there I always had a problem (don't know if the problem was there before, because it when almost imediatly to LPG convertion...)
Sometimes (whether hot or cold engine) it doesn't start, and sometimes when running the engine starts to fail and shuts down. When starting (or restarting) the engine, it starts and goes down right away after +/- 1s (like security system...). The car already went to the local volvo service center and they told me the problem was LPG conversion (even without a deap analysis...). From LPG center, the problem is on the engine side (not LPG)... because when working fine on LPG it almost never fails.
When reading errors we get a fuel pressure sensor error (high value).
I've got a quote of 250€ for the sensor only, so as I already spend so much money on it for other things I want to know if it will correct my problem this time...
Any experience on this side?

The fuel pressure sensor is a very common part that fails on thee cars so that might be the problem. But with you having the LPG conversion its hard to really ay that it is the problem.

Did you get it sorted, had exactly the same problem on mine. Couple of things - When you start the car - hot or cold, it seems to perform a diagnostic check -running the petrol at a higher pressure. Set the gas to wait at least a minute before switching over. The next one is the biggy, running on gas causes the petrol pressure to rise, which in turn make the car go into limp mode (It will still run on gas but not petrol) - Clearing the codes p0090, p00190 makes the car run again. The way I have sorted this, is to make the car switch to petrol on idle, and add a bit of petrol whilst running. That keeps the fuel pressure within limits (It is normally around 300).
