Default 79' 242 GT Fuel Pump problem

I have this 79' 242 GT that needs the in-tank fuel pump replaced, the problem is i cannot get to it. The return line hose that needs to be removed to gain access to the pump will not come off. There seems to be another hose inside of it, are there any tricks to getting this removed? thanks!

Looks like plastic tubing. Need to get a blade of some kind in between the plastic and the metal flange and pry it . Also might want to try gripping the rubber hose with some plyers about 1" away from the fitting and try to twist it back and forth. Slow but sure.

i figured it out, on the older models the return line has an inner nylon hose that has the normal rubber hose over it, lots of pulling and prying took it off
