Default ECU problems

I have a 563 ECU on my 91' 940 Turbo. i have been getting no ground signal on the fuel pump relay, so pump not coming on with turn of key. I jumped the relay to energize the fuel pump and start car. fuel in is going to rail, but no pulse in injectors, so no start. Looking for some logical answers. i have looked at the RSR but not sure it would cause both problems. I also tried to jump the relay, still no start.

Poor ECU get blamed much too often! I'd change the FI relay AND the Crankshaft Pos. Center.

I agree with lev - check your relay first. It is common for the 561 (pink label) ECU to have issues with the fuel pump circuit but the 563 is proven robust and is extremely rare to cause failures.
