I've looked through the search and found links but for some reson there not working for me.....
My problem is I just put a engine harness in my 240 and have a extra plug and 2 wires that i'm not sure where they go.........can someone help, I'm a bit dumbfounded.

I think these 2 are for the block sending units, but witch one goes to the top and bottom unit?


This one isn't part of the engine harness it comes off the firewall it look important, who knows


By the dipstick, again not part of the harness just a loose wire


When I got the car the harness was out so I did the best common sense hook up I could but I'm stuck now.

 

I think the top pic might be the coolant temp sensor located in the head almost all the way in the back.

Is the second pic ones maybe for the coil?

3rd I believe isn't used on your car.

4th I beileve also isn't used as well.

What year is the car?

 

the car is an 85...... I'll look for the plug in the rear.........theres a plug that goes to the dizzy it's there......the only thing I haven't hooked up is the twosending units on the block, theres one just below the intake, and one below that.

 

There still might be one in the way back side of the head. Like right between 3 & 4 intake runner.
