was wondering if anyone has ever built a tube chassis to fit with thier 244 or 242. i am looking to have a solid foundation for my LT1 244.. i am affraid the Tq my motor is putting out will twist my body. hell its bad enough i am on my 2nd rear and i havent even really drivin the car jus took it out to the gas station a great distance from my house even though there is one across the street... so if anyone can assist me with wheel base numbers and tell me how retarded i might sound i am open for opinions, ideas, info jus nothing negative

 

There is a guy around me which is running a very bult 350 in a 740 sedan with NOS.He blew the rearend into about 5 peices once.Then he started with another stock rear then heavily reinforced it and hasn't had any problems since.I believe he is running like mid to low 11's.

The other thing you might be able to try is to make like some subframe connectors.
