Front Seat Inclination ****- 240 DL
Was wondering how difficult it is to replace the front seat inclination ****'s for a 240. Puchased the wagon a month or so ago and it was missing the *****. Just found them today and will be shipped with the "clips."
Don't know if they just snap into place or if any special tools will be needed. Any advise?
thanks.

The locking clip is kind of tough to re-install but if it's new should not be that difficult. Make sure you line up the **** correctly and it is sitting flush and you are able to move seat forward and backward. Then install the locking clip in place. Push it in as far as you can with your hand and then I take a flat blade screwdriver or a punch and gently knock it into full locking position with a hammer. If you bend the insides of the clip, it is a pain to get it to lock properly so be gentle...good luck!

I picked up 2 at Voluparts in Atlanta - Voluparts Inc. - Volvo Parts - Used and New Honest & reliable Volvo parts help since 1977. - they are used.
The clips are a bit concave so not sure which direction they should be applied. Does anyone know if there is a diagram? I know these are in short supply so would rather do it right the first time.
Thanks.
