Default Fuel pump not getting power

hey yall, i have a 1986 240 thats not getting power to either fuel pump. at first both pumps had power but after replacing the in tank fuel pump (thats the one that we were having trouble with at first) we saw that it wasnt turning on since it didnt have power. we checked the fuses and the fuses for the fuel pumps suddenly didnt have power any more. any ideas on how to fix this would be very much appreciated, thank you.

Have you traced power to/from the relay? (white relay above passengers feet, under dash)

We fixed the power issue, now we have power to both pumps but the engine won’t turn over after replacing the in tank pump, we have fuel and we have spark so we don’t know what’s happening other than the main pump being bad

"engine won't turn over" - I trust that means the starter is spinning the engine, but the engine won't catch and run.

What's the fuel pressure?

Yes the starter spins and the engine doesn’t turn on, I haven’t checked the fuel pressure yet but I’ve been tracing the fuel line to see if it’s even getting fuel, I started going from the back forward (probably not the way to do it) so I skipped to seeing if the fuel rail is getting any fuel but I’m trying to figure out how to get it off

I just don’t know which way to turn this to get it off, I’m scared to break it if I turn it the wrong way, is it clockwise or counterclockwise looking at it from the front of the car

I got it off I just realized I should use another wrench to avoid snapping anything

Just an update, fuel is making it through the filter and it’s not going to the rail
