Default fuel pump stops

Hello everyone, I have a Vovlo 940 that has a problem, after running for a few minutes it stops feeding power to the fuel pump, the engine continues for a few more seconds and stops, the tachometer needle correctly indicates the rpm, but I was looking at the fuel pump relay and it seems to work, does anyone know what it could be?

The problem could be in the fuel pump itself. It might be overheating or failing intermittently, causing it to stop working after a period of operation. Also, check the fuel pump wiring, connections, and ground points.

Another thing to consider is the fuel pump control module if your car has one. These modules can sometimes malfunction, causing issues with fuel pump operation.

Also, you can test the fuel pressure when the car is running normally and when it's having problems. Fluctuations or a pressure drop could mean there's an issue with the fuel pump, the fuel filter, or the fuel pressure regulator.

start by replacing the fuel pump relay, they are known to have solder joint failures
replace your fuel filter, it may be able to allow fuel to flow with little load at idle, but may be blocked enough to impede adequate flow under load
