I have a leak in a hose that connects the plastic pipe from the gas tank to a shrader valve under the center left hand side. Does anyone know the proper part name I should order for it? Thanks in advance for any help. I believe it is 3/8" inside diameter or 11MM.

I believe this is going to be a 12mm high pressure line. The boot is not necessary in my opinion. Bought some 3/8 hose and it would not fit. According to Volvo this line is supposed to be 15/32 MM inside dimension. Will go to town tomorrow and try to find some MM high pressure hose and if not will buy some 1/2" inside diameter and see if it will work. Will keep the post updated as I work on it. Having a rainy season now and unable to work n it.

 

make sure whatever fuel hose you get is A) metric and B) fuel injection rated.


where is this in relation to the fuel filter ? is this car a Regina or Bosch system (is there a fuel pump next to the fuel filter under the car?)

 

The hose is between the tank and Fuel filter. the fuel filter is located under the car next to the Fuel pump. Is this a Regina or bosh I do not know the difference.
There is no supply house in my town that handles metric size at all. Bought a piece of fuel hose yesterday that is 1/2" rated at 300PSI. According to the salesman this hose does not require being High Pressure at this point in the system.

the parts catalog notes say, 240mm long but don't give the hose diameter.
