Gas smell 91 940 Turbo

Riding inside the car yesterday I noticed a strong raw gas smell. Glanced under hood didn't see anything. Wondering if it could be from the canister???

No. Isn't the larger canister in the engine compartment something to do with fumes? Smell is very strong in car.

Look under the car under the L/F door and see if it is wet.
Also look under the back of the car by the Gas tank and see if it is wet with gas.
