Default gauge cluster help

I have no idea what the female spade connector in the picture below, boxed in blue, is for. I've never seen a female spade connector on the back of a ANY 240 gauge cluster? This a K10042 without the temp comp board.....

anyone have any clues?

Had the same thing on the back of mine too. Someone said it might be for a diesel version... But I don't really know.

Yes, it's for diesel. "Wait-to-start" glowplug light.
