Default hall senser

The hall sensor an the bottom of the distributor on my 87 740 turbo has been shorting out and the car recently stopped. I took the distributor cap off and the wires to the sensor broke off. What is the best way to fix it? Can I reattatch the wires and in what order, or do I need to get a new Halls sensor unit?

Default RE: hall senser

Replace it. I bought mine from www.fcpgroton.com there is a write up on how to go about this. it is a little tricky.
