I have a '93 240 DL and I need a new header pipe.
I was going to order one from Tasca but I'm not sure if I need the one with EGR or without.

How can I tell?

89 and later 240's manufactured for the California market were the only one's equipped with an egr system.

The 8th digit in the vin will be your emission controls.

0-without egr
1-with egr

There's also an emissions label attached to the drivers side strut tower.
