Default Help Alternator connects?

New Member Here: '86 Volvo 740GLE wagon 4 cyl non-turbo. Replaced 40 mth old battery last month (due) Would not start in drive way today, went to R & R alternator and one of the 3 wires fell off the back of it! The question is where does it go? I just replaced it last year with a lifetime warranty on it. Just needing to find what post to connect to (it's the larger guage red wire).
Thank you for any help

Default RE: Help Alternator connects?

The Large red wire should go on the Big stud.
The small wire should go on the connector on the back.
The other small usually Blue wire is a ground and goes to ground.
