HELP!! Correct Flexplate Alignment!? 90 245
Hey guys,
Ive got a 90 245 automatic, and I pulled the trans out to be rebuilt and new rear main and some other little things fixed up. I have the trans. back but in my haste to put the new rear main in I didn't make any markings on how to reinstall the flex plate. I know there is specific way that it must be installed since I do have a Crank sensor. So I guess my question is, how do I align the flex-plate to the crank or is it actually necessary? and advice would be welcomed, I read the Haynes manual and it wasn't much help thanks!
