The is a magnetic \"pull/resistance but nothing snapped, cracked, popped, or made my heart sink. Ive manually advanced the speedo 7 miles trying to rule out the 25 tooth gear. It gotta be this motor.


Made a spring. 3rd reinstall for test if its a spring, gears, or motor on the gears?!

Plastic post broke HAND DRILLED a very small hole away from any circutry , panel, resistet, fuse, or otherwise eletronic devices.

 

It could also be the chip. I had a 3-1-1 code that said the ECU was missing a signal from the speedometer. I ordered a new speedo chip (ITT2115) and that fixed my code, but as a bonus, my odometer started working again! Have you had that code show up?

Its missing instrument bulbs so hard to say if its telling me anything, speedo track mph, bulbs that are in it work. E break, turn signals headlights, shift indicator.

It very well could be your 2115 chip as it is the source of pulses that drive the stepper motor you are looking at. For a full schematic of this circuit take a look at this web site. Great work at reverse engineering.
