Default Odometer repair

Just put in a new gear for the Odometer but it still does not work. It was suggested it might be the motor. Is there any way to test the motor?

Did the gear you replaced have missing teeth?

If it did, it was probably the gear. If it wasn't missing any...???

I had the same issue. You might want to take a dust remover spray and spray where the gear is. There was miniscule pieces of teeth stuck in there preventing the gear from turning. It definitely worked for me. Try that first. Good luck

Default odometer repair

Replaced gear, blew out assembly, gears and odometer turn manually but not when installed. I checked all the connections and they seem ok. A round connector, an L shaped white connector to the board, a half moon connector, and a red/yellow connector for the overdrive. Am I missing anything or could it be something else.
