odometer repair
Hi all,
I have a '90 240 wagon with a broken odometer. I bought the replacement gear from FCP Groton, and referred to this website for instructions. However, when I cracked it open, it appears to be a different speedo unit. I've attached a photo. I can't see where the gear that I bought would go. Can anyone help?

One question, though: the instructions that I linked to above said to glue the new gear in place. However, when I removed the broken gear, it easily slipped off of the shaft, so I didn't glue the new one. It seems to work fine.
