Help me tech your my only hope!!!
90 245 dl Check engine light and service light on neither will reset.
Push button on dash until it clicks but it does not go off
1-1-1 no fault on engine codes but cannot get light to go off.
Please help car runs great and I have it sold but I need to get those lights out.

Pulling the battery cable then turn the ignition and lights on. This will bleed down the caps. Turn ignition and lights off and reconnect battery. The is the less technical way to reset the check engine light. Course it will just come back on ifthere is a real failure. Be sure you are checking for codes on both the #2 and #6 slots as they are for two different functions of the car.
If your 91 is like mine the back of the instrument cluster is were the reset switch is. The reset button "extension" is on the right corner of the front console. The extension has a slit in it that slides up and contacts the reset lever. The button on the front may not be pushing the slit portion for enough to engage the lever. Might have to rotate the bezel out and do it by hand. I rest mine while I had it out to change the odometer gear.

Driving along yesterday and all of the sudden the car would not accelerate. Pulled over and the car would idle just fine but as soon as you tried to give it wanted to die but would not it would just run and die repeatedly. You could turn it off and restart it all you wanted to and it seemed fine until you triedto accelerate.I was able to drive it home but that was a long ride. It tried to clear up once but I gased it too much and it went back. Went back to it about an hour later and it was fine. I wentahead and put on a different fuel pressure regulator that I had and I have not really driven it since. This car did this to me once before but after a few seconds of reving it cleared up. Not this time.
