second post-1991 740, regina. Driving two weeks ago, running fine, just quit running and would not start. I have fuel at the rail, spark,coil does not seem to get hot. After sitting overnight started ran great for about 3 min, at 1000 rpms, kicks down to 800 rpms runs fine for another min. then idle slowes to about 400 then back up to 1000 rpms. This is when it starts to miss when the revs slow down, and then dies. Car will start again after 2 or 3 cranking attemps ( sometimes backfiring) run fine for 30 seconds miss and die. I have checked fuses, swapped relays on overflow, installed new RPM sensor, fuel relay is not getting hot and I can feel it click when key is on. No codes-- 1-1-1 on 2 and 6.Love the volvo but at this point I am ready to blow it up. Ideas or thoughts will be greatly appr.
