I've got a 87 240DL wagon. Believe it or not, it only has 65,000 original miles on it! It was in a garage from 1990 to 2003. My folks drove it now and then to keep all the parts lubricated. Trying to find ways to give my baby a few for HP. Has anyone out there installed the VX cam from IPD???

 

First welcome to the forum.
Second I have a couple of friends that put that cam into cars before and was a noticable diffrence.Don't expect tons of power but you will notice a diffrence.

 

Thanks for the info. If there is a noticable difference, I guess it might be worth the effort and cost.

 

A buddy of mine that has had Volvo's for years put one in a non turbo and said it pulled almost close to a turbo.

 

Great! Well, I put in my order to IPD for the part. I will follow up after I get it and install it.

 

Sounds good.Remember you won't have the quick jolt like with a turbo.But will pick up good.

 

What would that cam do for gas milage?

 

It won't really do much for gas milage but it will give a little more power.
