Default How much are 1990 240 DL's going for these days?

I hope this isn't frowned upon but I made an account because there are hardly any reliable sources of information out there so I wanted to ask some people who know their stuff.

Basically I have a 1990 240 dl station wagon (grey) in good shape. everything still works well with the exception of the air conditioner, and only 1 speaker works because of wiring degradation i assume? Has about 200,000 km. And has stayed in the family since it was originally bought back in 1990 i believe.

How much would you imagine this car would go for?

*edit- all season tires are also in good shape and have plenty of tread left on them and the car also would come with a set of winter tires.

*edit 2- if this makes any difference, i'm in B.C. Canada.

Your car would be somewhere between $1,000 and $3,000 in the US depending on where you are... You are in BC, so probably closer to $3,000 in the NW where Volvos are popular. I am not sure what the import rules would be for a Canadian car but the way you describe it it sounds nice...

the dead speaker is more likely from speaker cone deterioration than wiring. or a dead amplifier channel.

slight sarcasm ;P ? the paint is in perfect condition and everything. great car except for when it's really rainy or snowy. in which case rear wheel drive sucks. such a smooth ride though, only HUGE downside is that i dont like the look of the car.

huh, our 240 handled the snow aroound Lake Tahoe when we took it skiing really rather well. just need decent snowtires on it, and I'd sure rather have chains on RWD than on FWD under icy conditions.

anyways, you fix a speaker by replacing it. replace both/all for best results, as a decent new speaker will sound 10X better than a 20 year old stock speaker

my daughter's 87 240, I put some JL Audio 4" in the factory front door mounting positions, and some nice component 6.5" 2-ways in custom cutouts on the rear deck (its a sedan, not a wagon), and ran them all to a decent new aftermarket stereo with a 50x4 amp. it rocks.
