Default How to remove release bearing for the M47?

I'm doing a clutch change and I cant seem to remove it, it's the same as this picture:

ALso, the old one is flat on the top where the new one is slightly rounded and perhaps thicker. is that an issue? The new one is SKF.

what year and model? There are 2 styles of clutch forks. The throwout bearing will come off, I had to tap on mine a little bit but it came. Make sure you put the right one on cause its a pain to tear it down again. If you give me some info and part # of TOB, I can tell you which one you need.

Unfortunately I don't have a picture, since I don't live near my workshop.

The throw out bearing is a SKF VKC 2065. OEM Volvo is 3549391.

The Car is a Volvo 240 GL 1984 with a M47 and a B23.
