Default I have a 1985 244 dl wagon I was driving it and I stopped to cool it off as the

So the air conditioning belt broke I drove it about 30 miles. When I got to San Jose CA. It died there and when I tried to start it it wouldn't start I didn't hear anything from the fuel injectors. So I don't know what it could be. There isn't any gas going into the carb.either. I just replaced the fuel injectors about a year ago. I need help to figure it out. In fact I need all the help I can get

Thank you

No carb for starters.

Sounds very much like a bad case of overheating.

When the AC belt broke did it break the Alternator belt. Sounds like the alternator stopped working and you were running on the battery until you drained it. Check the voltage at the battery and see if it is around 12.6 volts. Do the lights work .

By the way when you stopped to "cool" it down does this mean you overheated the engine. Where was the needle of the temp gauge.
