Default I have an odd problem on a 1993 940 and need help

I have a 1993 940 non-turbo I have done the following to it, new timing belt, new timing tension-er, replace and had head resurfaced to spec, everything belts hose water pump ect. replaced most everthing and put better than new on...I ordered a radiator from on line Ebay...(we are in the middle of no where here)...it came and went right in everything fit except the new fan switch (goes on right had side of radiator... the screw in threads are much smaller in fact I had the sending unit for the water temp and it fits...does any one know what I can do for this or what switch will fit...the car runs fine with the radiator and a manual switch but I am selling the vehicle and need to replace the correct switch...I found a 240 with only 86,000 original miles on it and my wife loves it so time to sell the 940...I have contacted the place I got the radiator from and they sent me out another but is obviously not for this 940...it is for an early 240...If anyone has any ideas please let me know...thanks

Need some clarification: the temp switch is pressure fitted, goes into the right side, no threads. Yet you say, it fit? Then you ask, what switch will fit? Then, what manual switch?
