instrument cluster lighting replacement
just for guidance i replaced these today -
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/vol...gen-240-989809
one was blown (right side that lights gas gauge and temp gauge) the other working. replaced both. it is possible to do this without unplugging and removing the entire cluster. the right side is easy the left not so much but
possible even though working blind.
pull off headlight switch **** and dimmer switch ****. remove plastic panel there and on right side of cluster. 4 philips head screws hold cluster in. remove them and pull cluster out gently on top of steering wheel surround. work from there.
it helps a lot to look on cleanflametrap.com to see exactly the locations of the bulb holders in the back of the cluster.
these are pricey little suckers but worth replacing
hope this helps someone.
