Default Interior dome lens removal for LED install

Hi folks - Just purchased a 1993 240 Wagon for my son and have been pouring over the forum and learning a lot. Multiple searches have not given me the answer to what seems like a simple question. I'm installing LED lights in the interior domes. It looks like I'm supposed to pull the clear lens out of both the center and cargo area lights, but old, brittle plastic has me hesitant to give it too much force. Can anyone offer up the trick? Thanks in advance and thanks for all the info on the forum!

No trick. Use a small flathead screwdriver to depress the metal tabs that are usually holding these things in place...

Thanks @lev - I'll try pushing versus prying. Hoping to keep this moving forward rather than my usual one step forward/two steps back method.
