Hello,

Just purchased a 1994 940 turbo 2 days ago. I'm very new to volvo's and dont know what to expect other than reliability.

My question is; the car jerks when switching gears. Now is that common for volvo's or is my tranny going?

your car shouldnt jerk. transmissions are suppost to shift nicely. if you dont know much about transmission inspection or repair, first check your tranny fluid level and if thats fine bring it in to be checked.
