Default Just changed the shift indicator bulb

I had to change the bulb on the shifter yesterday and found it to be fairly simple. This is a 1989 740 GL . 2 screws and a clip hold the shifter plate which can be removed . Under that is 2 screws that hold the indicator plate (PRND12). Lift that up and the light is plugged in underneath. I found the bulbs at Autozone but they were no colored(blue). The whole process took about 20 minutes.

I've got to trace out why a whole chunk of my dash lighting isn't working :-/

I have no lights on the switches along the bottom of the dash, or the shifter (and I replaced that bulb). I *do* have lights on the instrument panel and the heater controls. this is on a 1992 745T
