Default Leak on fuel sender housing

I have a 89 740 GL which is leaking fuel at the fuel sender housing. The leak is at the nipple of the lowest of the three hoses attached to the round cover (not including the filler hose). Does anyone know the position of pressure and return lines at the cover so I can identify which is the leaker? Does the fuel sender need to be removed and repaired or is it possible to clean and seal the leak with a suitable gasoline resistant sealer without removing the unit? Thanks for any help.

Default RE: Leak on fuel sender housing

I would just try to find a used good unit and swap it out.
