I've replaced the water pump 3 times, not because pumps were bad but because I've blown the little o ring that goes on the pipe that slides into the back of the pump and i can't figure out why please help someone also my car is a wagon not sedan

 

get the real volvo o-rings and seals. the one thats most frequently a problem is the one that goes up under where the head overhangs the pump.

 

Cover the sucker in gasket maker, works like a charm. The main pipe tends to corrode, and if it does, no o-ring on its own will seal it
