Looking to sell 1993 Volvo 240 Classic Station Wagon (limited edition)
Hello fellow Volvo lovers!
My wife and I have had a 1993 Volvo 240 Classic station wagon for about 6 years, but are in a situation where we may want to sell it. We've recently moved to Washington, DC and it's our second car. We can hardly justify having one car, let alone two, living and working in the city.
It's a rare sapphire green color that I haven't seen very often and is number 154 of 1600. Apparently, each one was made slightly unique from all of the others in that set. We're at 236,500 miles and it still runs great. It's an automatic and the tires only have about a thousand miles on them. We've had to do some minor work; replacing an O2 sensor, radiator, etc., but the car runs great!
My reason for posting was to see if I could get some guidance on what to list the car for when we put it out there. Also, are there better places to list a car like this than simply putting it on Craigslist?
I took some pictures today and you can see them here (warts and all):

The car has a few spots that could use some care and we'd really love to have the new owners be people who really care about the car and have a love for Volvos.
If you have any suggestions on listing price, where we should list it, or any other suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Thanks heaps!

This car is pretty desirable as far as the 240s go. The car you have is not that beautiful but still... I don't know the market in DC, but here on the WC, this car mildly restored is worth may be $4-5000. In the condition I see yours, $2-2,500. Craiglist is king these days, but many flakes live there; you may try Ebay, someone out there may be dying for an Classic....
