Default Manual to auto transmission swap.

Hi,
I am considering buying another 1993 240 with a standard transmission.
I have a parts car 1993 240 with an automatic. I would prefer the auto trans, how difficult of a swap would this be?
tks,
Mike

The trans will bolt right in, the hardest part will be changing the pedal assembly to the larger brake pedal.

The auto trans has cooler lines going to the radiator so a compatible radiator and the cooler lines will be needed from your doner car. .

AH yes, I did not think of the radiator.
I am guessing the driveshaft as well.
Unless this other 93 240 is in excellent shape, it might be better looking for a auto car.
tks for your input!

I believe they use different drive shafts as well. Maybe Honk can clarify. I know the older 4-speed + overdrive manuals had a different drive shaft setup. Not sure on the 5 speed tranny.
