Default My 240 saved my life!

Hey all-

I'm sure you've heard stories like this many times, but last week my 1987 240 absolutely saved my life. I was driving on the highway, and had to come to a complete stop, due to a previous accident. As I stopped, I looked in my rear-view, and saw a PT Cruiser flying downhill towards me, at between 50-60mph. He plowed straight into me without putting on his brakes. I had a split second to brace before the hit. The impact was tremendous.

I am sore and have some imbalance & whiplash, and a scratch on my wrist. That is it! If I was in my Mustang, I would not have survived. I am so thankful to be alive today. The crumple zones worked superbly, and the way the car absorbed such a violent hit was incredible.

I've attached a picture of my 'Hoopty'

If his 240 hit the PT, it may look something like this.
