Default Volvo saved my life!

Swerving to avoid a deer, I crashed into a tree. I honestly believe Volvo saved my life! So did the cops and the tow truck driver. I didn't walk away with anything except a small bruise on my arm.

It's crazy! I'm now looking at other cars, but an S80 seems to be the best fit for what's available in my area. The crazy thing is, I paid 6300 for the car in the first place, and got exactly 6300 from the insurance agency!

#2 crazy thing is - I misspelled "saved." Additionally, from inside the cabin.... there is absolutely no damage whatsoever. I didn't even realize the accident was bad until I got out of the car!

Also glad to hear you're OK; looks like the car did its job!

Next time hit the frikking deer; there a little easier to move than trees...

So how fast do you think you were going before you abrubtly stopped?

I'd guess 40-45. The thing jumped right into the road, so I didn't really have time to brake for long Thing is, I hit this tall curb and rocketed the car up, which "landed" on the tree I really miss that car....

I had no idea the car was super damaged until I got out of the thing. The interior is completely perfect, apart from the passenger airbag. I'm a bit worried about the driver's side bag not deploying though... My knees didn't hit anything. Only thing I had was a slight bump on the head and a tiny bruise on the arm.

Otherwise, the interior is literally like new :P

That was the first bad accident I've been in, and I never really knew how serious a job engineers and designers have.
