Default My new/old 86 740GLE

Had it for about a month.... already cleaned the window switches, changed the tranny fluid, cleaned the throttle body, worked the front brakes, fixed the A/C drain at the fire wall (water on the floor), worked the left brake light socket (amber dash lamp came on indicating the brake light was not working). She runs pretty good, no oil leaks and it does not burn any. The A/C is ice cold, the previous owner replaced the entire A/C system for who know how much money, only to have a major leak on the pax side floor. The mechanic who installed the new evaporator managed to crack the bottom cover when re-installing it in the car. Had to epoxy the crack and get the leaves and dirt out of the drain. Found the grill vent aft of the hood had come loose, letting leaves and debris enter the fan/evaporator enclosure causing it to clog up prematurely. Lots of small stuff, but pretty much ironed out now. Cool old car, comfortable and quiet. Only 110K miles, should go for another 100K. Not sure about the timing belt. Easy to work on. Good forum, good cars!

I would replace the t-belt and tensioner just to be on the safe side.
