Hello, I recently bought a 1988 740GLE. It's in pretty good shape from what I can tell, and cosmetically it's really nice. It does have some issues as can be expected from a 21-year old car though. The universal joints/carrier bearing need to be replaced (badly!) and there's some minor electrical gremlins I'm chasing. But I do enjoy tinkering so it's all good. I look forward to learning a bunch from this forum.
