Need advice for removal of EGR from '83 240.
Hello,
My forum search revealed very little about EGR systems.
I have a set of extractors I want to install on a 240 '83 B23E, however they don't have the EGR port/fitting. I don't have a welder so can't retro fit the new extractors so I'm thinking it would be easier to remove/delete all the EGR gear.
I'm concerned that it not just a matter of removing all the EGR gear and 'plugging' all the holes. Can the ECU cope with this change?
I'm towing a motorbike trailer on the highway and there's plenty of big, long hills and was hoping for a little more oomph (ie. cheap N/A HP).
Thanks. (eek my fisrt post! )
