Default Need brake light help PLEASE!

I have a gremlin- When I have my headlights off, all three brake lights light up properly. When I have the headlights on, the drivers side goes black and does not light up at all when my light are on.
I have take the bulb out and sanded the contact points, to no avail. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

sounds like you either have a short or two in the tail light wiring harness or a bad relay/switch. The wires are all color coded....start looking around for busted wire. Beyond that, start testing your switches with a multimeter.

Replace driver's side bulb. Sometimes the filaments short together.

Regards, Andrew.

THANKS- turns out to be the socket- I took the bulb out, popped it back in and it worked- hit a hard bump and bad again- I can't seem to keep the bulb tight.

You shut be able to kinda bend the prongs up on the socket.. which will keep snug when you screw the bulb back in
