I have a 90 740 Turbo and it has been leaking from the bottom transport line anti freeze whenever the car is off. But i noticed today that it has also has been leaking onto the block of the car also. Is this now a major problem doubt its a bad headgasket cause I drive all day with it fine no problems. How do I fix this and the other leak.

 

What hose are you talking about?
The lower Rad. hose?
The coolant pipe that goes to the water pump?
The coolant hoses at the turbo?

For the other leak it could be the top water pump seal where it meets the head or could be a head gasket leak. You need to clean it really good and then watch and see exactly where it leaks from.

 

it started to leak when i changed my upper radiator hose. then i put on the new hose and it didnt leak for over a month or so. it leaks from the metal lines under the car. I heard these were the coolant transport lines? I think its the head gasket also how many hrs will it take to fix that?

 

Doing it at home atleast set aside one full day. Maybe 2 if you send the Head to get inspected for warpage and shaved.

Are you talking about the metal pipes to the oil cooler or the orange one that goes from the water pump around the back of the engine?

 

its not orange. also i just saw that the hose that goes from the intercooler to the engine isnt hooked up? whats that hose for?
