I need a manual transmission for my '92 240. does anyone have a lead on a good used unit? I'm located in southern kansas. I pulled the transmission out today, hoping the grinding noise was just a bad bearing. There's teeth broken off a gear.

Thanks for the suggestion. They replied that they don't have the M47 transmission. I'm learnign that these trannys are kind of rare, and not very reliable. If I can't find one, I might consoder a T5 conversion. I used to drive a volvo with the M46, electronic overdrive. I liked it ok. I see several of those on Ebay, I might just go that route. Can anyone tell me if the M46 will bolt to my bell-housing? It has the notch for the crankshaft sensor.
