Arrow Manual or Automatic Transmission Count

I thought I would make one of these simple polls just for the heck of it. I bet it's been done before, but what the heck..

So, it's pretty straightforward...does your 850 have the manual or the automatic transmission?

Manual for me.

I would guess that 98% of them are auto.

The automatics here in australia were a no cost option, so I would say less than 2% are manual here. It is why a manual conversion goes for over 5K for one of these here

check all the 850's for sale on craigslist. Check 20 and you'll be lucky to find one manual.

In the US, that would be accurate. And 99% of the manuals don't have turbos, so they don't count. lol

WHAT? A manual swap goes for over 5k dollars? In Australia? Mine was $1k and that was at the peak when EVERYONE was doing manual swaps, now you can get them for like $600-$800.

Wow. I feel like a rarity!

I guess my parents made a smarter decision than I thought 17 years ago!

My 850R came from the factory as an auto, but I have since rectified the situation...

Sorry but I'm with Gilber, if it's not turbo, it don't count.

Yeah, but does it have a turbo? If no, then it doesn't really matter. lol. Sorry, but the only thing a manual NA is good for is ripping out the manual trans to put in a turbo. And if you're not in the US, then it's not really rare/cool either because everyone else except the US received turbo 5-speeds, and a decent number of them.
